New Here

Words and pictures on a website are nice, but can’t really convey the essence of Crossroads. The only way to understand who we are is to experience Crossroads first-hand: to participate in the joy and reverence of our worship...to serve someone in need shoulder-to-shoulder with other brothers and sisters in Christ...to hear biblical truth from a message series...to laugh and cry and grow with your Life Group...to name a few.

But okay; until you experience us, we understand you might like to know a little more, so here goes: Our first service was held on March 10, 1996 as 50 people met in the clubhouse at the Oakhurst subdivision in Aurora. For 14 years, beginning in 1999, we met in the Neuqua Valley High School auditorium in Naperville for two Sunday services, where attendance grew to roughly 1,400 people each Sunday.

In 2003 God miraculously moved to make it possible for us to acquire 130 acres of land (the Smith farmstead) at Wolf's Crossing and Eola Road in Aurora. This was very valuable commercial real estate and we could not have purchased it without God's supernatural grace. We waited patiently on God’s provision to make it possible to begin preparing the property to become our future church home. We were able to begin that work in 2008, taking full advantage of the existing buildings and preparing the land for our new 21,000 square foot Worship Center at 3003 South Eola Road. By God’s faithfulness, we held our first services in the new facility on June 2, 2013.
